My dream job

One of my favorite hobbies is watching movies, so maybe you can imagine what kind of job I would like to have. Movie director is my dream job. I spend most of my free time watching movies and I’m really interested in what’s behind the screen. We have all seen movies, but have you ever thought about all the work that’s behind? All the people that worked on camera, photographers, designers, music director, makeup artists and everybody on set? It’s surprising! As a director you have to find who’s going to play the roles, who’s going to give life to your screenplay and it has to be just the way that’s on your mind. Each story is developed at different places, some are real and some other have been created by the team, the place you work at it depends, I think you have to travel a lot to find places, the cast, people to work with and even inspiration, so it could be an indoor job as an outdoor one.

Artistic and dramatic aspects have to be treated carefully to have the result that you expect so viewers can understand and feel what you want. My favorite film director is Michael Haneke. On he’s movies you can notice that he have the control of the situation, he changes your mood and in other words he plays with you. I think is interesting the way he does it. The scenes from he’s movies are so well planned that you feel touched and vulnerable. You almost can interact with the director through he’s movies, I think he’s an artist in all possible ways.
